Neal Kalita is Senior Director of Power & Energy Management for NTT Global Data Centers. He leads a team that operates as a “micro utility” within the organisation and is responsible for buying power and energy, operating closed loop grids and securing sustainable resources to meet its emissions target of 100% renewable supply by 2030. He has a background of over 20 years in real estate and energy experience as an investor, developer and advisor. He believes climate impact needs to consider the 3R’s: Climate Risk, Resilience & Recovery. For data centers specifically, this can be achieved through using less, buying better and doing differently.
